Captain
John Kruizenga -
I've been fishing as long as I can remember. And for the last 12
years, I've come to be a disciple to the art of saltwater fishing, along
the coast of Texas.
Previously, I'd
been fishing in-shore, primarily for Speckled Trout, (spotted weakfish),
and Redfish, but recently purchased a boat large enough to fish
offshore. I've fished the Star Tournament sponsored by CCA, for
several years in the in-shore division, fished in the Jack-Tarpon Off, and
fished in the Cula Roja.
I'm planning on
transferring some of these in-shore skills to the art of Kingfishing in
the amateur division of the Southern Kingfish Association's Region 8. |

Anchor
Boy!
My
brother-in-law, Donald Graham. Stone-mason by day, fishing fanatic by
nature. We have to have Donny along, because he's the only one I
know who's strong enough to lift the fish we're going to catch for the
tournaments, into the boat, and up to the weigh-in.
Also, highly
talented at chumming, by just taking of his shoes, and dangling his feet
in the water. |

Neighbor
Boy!
My neighbor
(Southern-Fried Mike Snodgrass) is filling in on our team. He's
had some experience fishing offshore, and therefore is a ringer on our
team. I fully expect to spend as much time laughing as I do
fishing with this crew. What more could you want?
Unique Trait -
Mike never met a beer he didn't like. |

Our
Mascot
Libby, our 65
pound pit-bull. She is the only thing we have in our lives, with
meaner teeth than a Kingfish. But, she is also the most affectionate
of any our crew. She gives us energy, and love both before and after
our tournaments. |
